Heritage Homes (Wales) Ltd was established in 1988 in a factory in Blaenau Ffestiniog. The company was formed by Michael Roberts who, after many years of experience and association with the industry, finally realised his long term ambition and set up Heritage Homes to produce Park & Holiday Homes in the way he had always felt they should be built, which is that the quality of build is as important as the visual appeal of the home. It is something that Heritage have always prided ourselves on.
Over the following few years Heritage out grew it’s first factory, and in 1991 moved to a 3000 square-foot factory in Dolgellau where the production capacity more than doubled. But, with a growing reputation, it wasn’t long before the company had to move again and in 1996 Heritage bought premises on its current site in Porthmadog. The site occupies approximately 3 acres in total with a 10,000 square foot factory and offices.
Heritage still hold true to the original values. While the structure of the home is not something that would immediately shout out to you, it is something that will begin to make sense as the home ages. Subtle differences like the thickness of our walls, 9mm plywood used in construction, stronger flat roof construction, all add up to a solid foundation for your home.
The design of the interiors is something that can offer immediate WOW. And we realise that with the best will in the world, build quality alone is not going to make a home worth buying. So we have invested a lot of time into making sure that our outward appearance is as inspiring as our inward structure.
